Obituary

Adola Bartoli Danesi, 94, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2016.

Adola was born in the Tuscan village of Momigno, Italy. At the age of 9, she
emigrated with her parents and brothers to the United States and settled in Turtle Creek, PA. Adola graduated from Turtle Creek High School in 1940. In 1948, she married Nello Danesi and moved to Dunbar, where they raised their family and began their careers in aviation.

In 1960, Adola and Nello partnered with Kemp and Connie McLaughlin as co-founders
of General Aviation, now Executive Air Terminal, at Kanawha (Yeager) Airport in Charleston. Affectionately dubbed "Mrs. D." by her co-workers, Adola stayed on as bookkeeper until she retired at the age of 91.

She was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Dunbar and the
Dunbar Women's Club.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Auselio and Annunciata Bartoli; former
husband, Nello Danesi of Coraopolis, PA; brothers Ados Bartoli of North Versailles, PA and
Amos Bartoli of Monroeville, PA.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Wolfe (John) of Cross Lanes, John Danesi
(Samra) of Louisville, KY, Linda Danesi of Dunbar; grandchildren, John "Tony" Wolfe of
Columbus, OH, Melanie Wolfe Cucchi of Lovettsville, VA, Nicholas Wolfe of Orlando, FL, John "Chris" Danesi of Waco, TX, Allison Danesi of Lexington, KY; and four great-grandchildren.

The Danesi family would like to express their gratitude for the compassionate home
care provided by Martha Toler and Tammy Fertig and the incomparable service of the Hubbard Hospice House staff.

Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, at Christ the King Catholic
Church in Dunbar, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 7 p.m. Mass will be officiated by Father Thomas Kalapurackal and Deacon Dennis Nesser. Private entombment will take place on Friday, April 29.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to
