Alan Lee Norman's Obituary
Alan Lee Norman, 56, of Cleveland, NC, died on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006, at WFU Baptist Medical Center.
Born on Aug. 11, 1950, in Kanawha County, he was the son of the late Henry Lee and Nora McLelland Norman. He was employed by Hydro Management Services in Clemmons, NC and was of the Baptist faith.
On Feb. 9, 1973, he married Brenda Nipps Norman, who survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Norman is survived by a half-brother, Dennis Norman; brothers-in-law, Gary Nipps and Larry and Sandy Lucas; several nieces and nephews and a great nephew.
There will be a graveside service for Mr. Norman on Monday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m. at the Preston Cemetery in Charleston.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, August 20, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 301 RHL Boulevard, Charleston, WV 25309.
