Mrs. Alice E. Moody passed away on May 25, 2018, after a brief illness.

She was born in Richwood, in 1930.

Mrs. Moody is preceded in death by her loving husband, Mr. Dwight E. Moody. She was one of ten children, and is preceded in death by seven of her siblings, Ada Unrue, Audrey Burroughs, Agnes Akers, Ralph Smith, Calvin Smith, Frances Withrow, and Elmer Smith.

She is survived by her stepchildren Deborah Moody (Deborah Becker) of Tallahassee, FL, Cynthia Coburn (Douglas "Bud") of Collinsville, OK, Michael Moody (Beth) of Wellsburg, WV, and Thomas Moody (Brenda) of Louisville, KY, sisters Anna Fisher of Dunbar, and Ruth Jacobs of Cross Lanes, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, at Tyler Mountain Memorial Gardens, Cross Lanes, with Pastor John Hayes officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Hubbard Hospice House West, 4605 MacCorkle Ave SW, South Charleston, WV, 25309.
