Alice Ruth Huffman's Obituary
Alice Ruth Huffman of Charleston, born November 27, 1943 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Hubbard Hospice House West.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; mother and father, Louise and Willard Means; mother-in-law Clella Huffman; brothers, Doyle, Charlie, David, Claude, Elsie and Jimmy.
Alice was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Ivydale Baptist
Church. She will be missed by family and friends.
Alice is survived by her son, Chuck (Lora); daughter, Carol Boyd (fiancé, Jeff Pring); grandchildren, Blake and Emily Huffman, Cierra and Tanner Boyd; sisters, Norma Jean Carrier, Martha Mathes, Delphia Cole; brothers Ronald Means, Bobby Means, Cricket Means; and extended family.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Gary Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Friends and family may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Keller Funeral Home. Dunbar.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House West, 4605 MacCorkle Avenue SW, South Charleston, WV 25309.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
