Alma Humphries Lumadue, 82, of Dunbar passed away September 2, 2013.
She was a loving mother who always put her children first. After a difficult first marriage,
she married Harold "Jake" Lumadue who was a wonderful partner for the duration of his
life. She was a spirited, energetic and caring person who also had many friends.
After raising her two children, she pursued a very successful career at Sears.
She and Jake were members of the Charleston Eagles where they had many friends. They enjoyed traveling with World War II POWs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Lumadue; sisters, Lillian "Tootie" Harless, and Audrey Jones.
Alma is survived by her sons, Clifford Humphries and wife Debra, and Lee Humphries; sister, Imogene Ailstock.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, September 6 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Reverend Doyle Smith officiating.
Friends and family may call one hour prior to service. Burial will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
