Alta Taylor Davis, 80, of Clay, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012, at the Hubbard Hospice House.

She was a former resident of Glady, WV and was a long time employee of the Elkins Motor Lodge.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Mimie Taylor; three children; and one brother.

Surviving are her husband, Marvin "Mark" Davis; sons, Denzil Nida and Patrick Pauley of Tennessee and Robert Dolan of Teays Valley; brothers, Charles Taylor of Richwood and James Taylor of Dunbar; sisters, Ellen Cox and Barbara Mundy of Dunbar. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Mark Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery, Scary Creek.
