Alva Ray Osborne, 94, born on March 11, 1926, went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Al accepted Jesus as his Savior on September 5, 1966 and has served him faithfully for 54 years. He was an ordained minister, pastoring his first church in Cleveland, OH. Then, upon moving to West Virginia, he pastored a Church of God in Comfort and then in Racine. Al was also an evangelist, holding revivals throughout West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Connie Osborne (Stone) and Kathleen Atkins.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joyce Osborne; son, Alva Ray Osborne Jr. and his wife Tina; daughter, Violet Hatfield and her husband Wakeman and his daughter, Felisha Fauber and her husband Travis; daughters, Virginia Johnston and Tammy Zednick; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
