Obituary

A'Mirracle Nachea Johnson Rush "Mir Mir", age 13, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on August 23, 2025, leaving her family and friends with cherished memories of her beautiful spirit.

She was born on September 13, 2011, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to her birth mother, Kadeisha Nachea Johnson.   A'Mirracle later made her way home to Charleston West Virginia with her beloved Great Grandmother "Mother", Disaree Kim Rush.

Raised with boundless devotion, A'Mirracle's bond with her Mother Disaree was unbreakable. She grew up surrounded by strength, wisdom and inspiration. When her Mother Disaree accepted the role God called her to play in Mir Mir's life, she did so with no hesitation. With immeasurable love, she shaped Mir Mir's life with care, sacrifice, and commitment – ensuring she experienced the best quality of life possible. This selfless love defined A'Miracles's journey and gave her the power to thrive.

From the beginning, A'Mirracle faced life with faith and courage. Though she lived with disabilities, her life was not defined by her limitations. Mir Mir had a passion for shopping and a style all of her own and intelligence whether she was picking out something special for herself or surprising someone she loved, she found pure joy in it. She did not care who she was shopping for, if it made someone smile, that was enough for her. Every trip to the store with Mir Mir turned into an adventure filled with laughter, jokes, and her "add it to the cart" spirit. Shopping was her way of showing love, and through it she left behind memories as bright and joyful as she was.

A'Mirracle will forever be remembered for her radiant smile, her gentle and kind spirit, and the joy she brought to her family, friends and community. Her time here was short, but the depth of her life was impactful and immeasurable.   Her story has touched many communities. It is one of strength, love and hope. One that rallied people from all walks of life that helped to provide opportunities that allowed her to explore and live life beyond what her physical capabilities may have allowed.

Surrounded by the unwavering love of many, A'Mirracle experienced a life rich with joy, opportunity, and connection. Her Mother Disaree ensured she lacked nothing and could embrace the fullness of childhood in her own beautiful way.

Mir Mir was preceded also in death by her great-grandfather, Jack Martin Jr., and her beloved great-aunt, Sharon Greene who is welcoming her open arms. We know you are both dancing and rejoicing together in Heaven's light.

Left to mourn are her mother, Disaree; birth mother, Kadeisha Johnson; grandparents, Clinton Martin and Tia Martin, and Lamarr Hill; a very special aunt, TT Yalonda Coleman; grandmother, Nancy Hunter; great-grandmother, Jaime Warrenton; uncle "brother", Marlon Rush;  Nana, Joyce Brown; God-Mother, Lucretia Robinson; her favorite loving great aunt, Jean Martin; great-aunts,  Dianna Crim and Sherrie Taylor;  aunt, KlinTisha Martin; and uncles, Semajai Laughlin, Zyquan Hill-Gray, and Klamari Hill-Martin; along with her biological grandmother, Tashauna Johnson.
