Anna Belle French, 88, of Dunbar passed away Friday, February 14, 2014, at Dunbar Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert French; parents, John and Clara Tinnel of Dille, Clay County; brother, Melvin Tinnel; and sister, Marie Show.

She is survived by sisters, Nora Loomis of Ravenna, Ohio, and Sarah King of Mechanic Falls, Maine; and nieces and nephews.

Anna was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dunbar where she was involved in the various activities of the church. Of particular interest to her was teaching the children's Special Needs Sunday School class for many years. She was retired from the Kanawha County Board of Education.

At her request there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at Grandview Memorial Park in Dunbar on Tuesday, February 18, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Doyle D. Smith officiating.
