Anna Bell Lovejoy Sexton Gilbert, 83, of Red House, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011, at her home.

She was retired from Thomas Memorial Hospital as an X-Ray attendant. Mrs. Gilbert was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan Gordon and Bertha Katherine Lovejoy and by her husband, Carl Henson Gilbert.

Surviving are her sons, Franklin Sexton of Red House and Alva Sexton of Rockingham, NC; daughters, Jessie Cheeks and her husband Bronson of Griffithsville and Sandra Dingman of Washington; grandchildren, Bronson Dale Cheeks, Rose Lee Frame, Anna Mae Dingess, Robin Ann Taylor, Jesse Lee Cheeks, Anna Bell Sexton, Eric Sexton, Jeremy Sexton, Duane Dingman, Darin Dingman and Derrick Dingman. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Leonard May officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park.
