Anna K. Schwarz, 73, of St. Albans, passed away Wednesday, May 16, at Hubbard Hospice House.

She worked for many years as a waitress in many upscale restaurants in the Chicago area and had lived in St. Albans for the past 12 years. She was a native of Logan County.

Surviving are her son, Larry Smith and his wife, Elizabeth of Nitro; brother, Kenneth Armstrong of Mississippi; sisters, Billie Berkshire of Georgia and Margaret Baker of Michigan. She is also survived by grandchildren, Lisa, Susan and Steven Smith and great grandchildren, Summer Elkins and Nicholas Hoffa.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 19, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. David Pence officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
