Anniastio "Anna" Jackson Bryant passed away following a short illness on January 1, 2019, at the age of 80.

Anna is survived by her sister Claudia (George) Salinger and her children and grandchildren; cousin Barbara Zeagler and her grandson; three children - her daughter Annette (Chris) Paulsen, her daughter Susan (Patrick) Casdorph and her son Kenny (Karen Davis) Bryant; five grandchildren - Alaina (Thomas) Jackson, Amanda (Kenny) Cooper, Danyel (Drew Spurrier) Bryant, Nathaniel and Ethan Paulsen; and four great grandchildren – Atticus Murrell, Madelyn Murrell, Henry Jackson and Elora Jackson; and her beloved bishon frise, Maggie May.

Anna was born in Charleston, West Virginia but also lived in Florida and Texas. She graduated from Nitro High School and was a member of the National Honor Society. Anna overcame a difficult childhood during which she lived with various family members and foster families. As an adult she was a stewardess, a wife, a mother, a homemaker, a business owner, a medical transcriptionist and trainer, a terrific cook, an accomplished seamstress and an antiques dealer. She was known for her wicked sense of humor, her great love for her little dogs, her creativity, her perfectionism, her amazing typing speed, her talent for entertaining, her love of gardening, her interest in genealogy and her joie de vivre. Anna believed that if you could read instructions, you could do anything and she was never afraid to try!

Anna's family wishes to extend their thanks for all the prayers, kind words and condolences received during this very trying time. A private memorial service will be held at a date that has yet to be determined.
