Anthony "Tony" Michael Scipio, 40, of Dunbar, departed this world on Monday, April 4, 2016.

He was the beloved son of Otto Michael Scipio & Carolyn Sue Pauley Scipio. Tony was the proud father of his son, Gavin Michael Scipio, and daughter, Amelia Grace Scipio.

Tony was a tenured employee of CSX Railroad where he was a respected foreman by everyone who worked with him. They often commented on both his work ethic and his fun loving attitude.

He was a graduate of South Charleston High School (Class of 1993) and attended both WV State University and Ben Franklin Career Center.

Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lowell and Willena "Bill" Pauley, Otto Scipio, Juanita and Charles Moore.

In addition to his parents and children, he is survived by his twin brother, Andrew Scipio and wife, Heather, of Cross Lanes; brother, John Scipio and wife, Marisa, of Pittsburgh. Tony was the proud uncle of nephew, Jacob Scipio and nieces, Emily, Sydney, and Sadie Scipio. He was also survived by his long-time companion, Shelli Ervin and her children, Justin, Jared and Jewell, of Hurricane.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Rev. Dr. Okey Harless officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
