Arthur Mcdarnald Priddy's Obituary
Arthur McDarnald Priddy, 90 of Dunbar passed away December 17 at home after a short illness.
He was born January 21, 1925 to the late Squire and Maggie Smith Priddy.
Arthur was a World War II Navy veteran, having served on the destroyer class USS Edward H. Allen, and was a retired auto mechanic for Dale Raines Lincoln Mercury.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Elmer, Orville "Red", Ray, and Gay Priddy; and sisters, Elizabeth Painter and Emma Taylor.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Emalie Maxine Priddy; daughter Renee' Amend; granddaughter Emily Amend-Bolling and her husband William.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jonathan Lilly and the staff of Thomas Memorial Hospital for their care
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 22 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
In lieu of flower, the family suggests making a donation to the charity of your choice in Arthur's name
