On Thursday, July 5th, 2012 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, Arwilda Kathleen Jones, 84, of Dunbar, took her last breath as the Lord reached forth his hand and welcomed her home.

Born on June 8, 1928, in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Macel (Higginbotham) Boles.

Kathleen, as she was better known, was a member of the Church of Christ in Dunbar, where she loved to fellowship with friends and sing. She had a smile that would light up a room. She loved people and never knew a stranger. She worked five years at the Dunbar Laundry Mat where she always gave a helping hand.

Her memory will be carried on by her loving best friend and the love of her life for 41 years, husband, Larry R. Jones, Sr; and her daughters, Kay Kish of Clendenin, Regina Good of Scott Depot, JoAnn Gregory of NC and sons, Eric Sagraves and his wife, Sylvia of Arkansas, and Dave Tyler. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cindy Sams and husband, Jamie, Anthony Good, Star Kish, L. J. Jones, Michele Coggin, Tracy Braden, Andy Sagraves, Susan and Christopher Tyler, Daniel and Holly Lizotte and B. J. Reavis and great grandchildren, Teyah Sams, Bethany Sams, Trey Sams and Dixon and Julia Braden.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 7, at Grandview Memorial Park, with Minister Donnie Joe Chapman officiating.
