Obituary

Atticus Caius Farmer was brought into this world on July 13, 2024 and went home to God on December 9, 2024 having being met at Heaven's gates by his Great-Mammaw and Great Gammie.

Atticus was born at 27 weeks along with his twin brother, Avery, and was a fighter from the start.  He was loved from the moment his mother and father knew he was growing in her belly.  Atticus was a special baby, and at four months old had a big personality.  His favorite song was the classic "Fly Me to the Moon", and his father sang that to him often.  He and his father would sit and watch anime together as well.  Atticus loved to hear the "made-up" songs his mom would sing to him.  He would reward her with a smile so wide one of eyes would close.  Atticus loved to laugh at the silly things his mom and dad would do.  He was just the happiest baby. Atticus would also sleep and cuddle with his twin brother, Avery, every night before bed. He will always be in the light of the world, loved and cherished for all of eternity.

Atticus will forever be in the hearts of his mother, Madison Vance; father, Fredrick Farmer; brothers, Kaiden, Fred Jr., and Avery; grandmothers, Juanita Houston and Yolanda Farmer; grandpa, Johnnie Houston; along with aunts, Abigail Vance, Tuncy Peacock, and Destiny Schaible; and uncles, Cedrick Farmer, Chase Vance, CJ Vance, James and John Houston. Atticus will always be in the hearts of many friends and family that were not named, but could fill this page.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 20, at Power House of Deliverance, Dunbar, with Bishop M.L. Mosley officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
