Audra Virginia Miller's Obituary
Audra Virginia Miller, 91, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully at Thomas Memorial Hospital on April 13, 2006.
Known lovingly to her family and friends as "Auggie", she worked at Fletcher Enamel, and was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother, and a faithful member of the Dunbar Church of the Nazarene. She was born in Liberty in 1915 and graduated from Sissonville High School.
Auggie is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Howard "Bill" Miller; 3 daughters, Charlotte Dorsey of South Carolina, Mary Cunningham of Scott Depot, Jeanette Gillespie of Charleston; 6 grandchildren, Regina Whiteside and Tony Dorsey of South Carolina, Dawn Morgan, Ben Cunningham, Rhonda Cunningham all of Scott Depot, W.C. Hill of Dunbar; 4 step-grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
The Miller's have resided at SweetBriar Assisted Living Center, Dunbar, since 2003, and wish to thank the staff for their loving care.
The service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Philip Bowles officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2006, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
