Ayisha Renee Spriggs, 32, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2023.

She was born on January 17, 1991, to Eugene Spriggs Sr. and Dawn Williams.

She attended school in Charlotte, NC, before moving to West Virginia where she graduated from South Charleston High School in 2009. Ayisha attended Charleston School of Beauty in Charleston. She worked various jobs including restaurants, Walmart, and in health care. She is remembered for her big, beautiful smile that lit up the room and a personality that everyone who encountered her loved. She loved others without expectation. Ayisha was family oriented, loved music and avoided confrontation and cared very much for Loki, her baby Chihuahua.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Joe Daugherty and Caroline Spriggs Hester; maternal grandparents, Gail and Kenneth Osborne and Carmen Williams.

Ayisha is survived by he mother, Dawn Williams; father, Eugene Spriggs Sr.; brothers, Eugene Spriggs Jr. (Kayla), Damon Spriggs (Sarah Bias), Travis Bird (Danielle); sisters, Brittany Williams, Asia Holman, Amber Frasier (Marcus); three nephews; nine nieces; grandfather, Matthew Williams; uncles, Matthew Williams, Jr., Brian Edwards (Anthony); aunts, Regina Pleasant, Jaqueline Johnson, Marveeta Obey (Renee), Monica Yancy (Charles); and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
