Obituary

Barbara Ann "Bobbi" Nichols Casto, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.

Bobbi was welcomed to join her Heavenly Father to a peaceful place for her to rest on Thursday, January 7, 2010, in Florence, SC.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kermit R. "Nick" Nichols and her mother, Dorothy Harshbarger.

Bobbi was a graduate of Dunbar High School, attended Marshall University and graduated from Capital Business School.

Bobbi's joy came from her family. She knew that life was about love of family and giving to others. She was one who didn't brag, but shared from her heart, knowing that love is its own reward. We could each describe her as always present with us, her actions always peaceful and sharing all she had with her family, letting others have the glory times, because, she knew her life was full of love.

To mourn her loss, yet, celebrate her spirit, she leaves behind two wonderful children, Ginger Taylor, and her husband Al of Little River, SC, Elijah Casto, and his wife, Kimberly of Wilkinson, WV; sister, Kay N. Johnson of Cross Lanes; brother, John W. Nichols of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren, Michael Knight, and his wife, Jennifer, Christopher Knight, and Jeremiah Casto; great grandchildren, Kilee Knight and Nathan Knight.

Despite our relief, mixed with grief, we reflect the loss of Bobbi, for wherever she was, smiles were abundant.

A celebration of Bobbi's life will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 12 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with pastoral care provided by St Anthony Parish. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
