Barbara Gesker's Obituary
Barbara Gesker, 92, of Dunbar, passed away October 5, 2008 at home after a short illness.
She was born July 4, 1916 in Trenton,NJ and was a former member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Charleston. Although diminutive in stature her presence was enormous. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
She is survived by three children, Richard Gesker of Dunbar, Dennis Gesker of Philadelphia, PA., and Maryanne Hamrick of Dunbar; five grandchildren, Benjamin Hamrick of Dunbar, Deborah Price of Chesapeake, VA., Kimberly Wright of Warminster, PA., Dennis Gesker of Kalispell, MT, and Dr. Richard Gesker of Philadelphia, PA. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren. She will never fade from our hearts and thoughts.
A memorial mass will be held Friday, October 10, at 12 noon at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1504 Grosscup Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25064.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
