Barbara Ann Keller, 67, of Charleston, passed away Monday, January 16, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother who devoted her life to caring for her special daughter. Barbara was a woman who could never say "no". She loved her animals and loved to paint, read and sew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer D. and Thelma Marie Ward; and her brothers, Jack and Terry Ward.
Mrs. Keller is survived by her husband, Charles Keller; sons, Byron Faegre and his wife, Jeanine of Charleston, and Herbert A. Keller of Charleston; daughter, Candy Lynn Faegre of Charleston; sisters, Janet Ward Harrison and husband, Denver of Dunbar, and Lisa Ward of Charleston; grandchildren, Sarah Leach and Hannah Faegre; great-grandchildren, Peyton Leach and Willow Leach; brothers-in-law, Jacob Keller of Maryland, and Rodney Keller of Las Vegas; sister-in-law, Nancy Crouch of Charleston, several nieces and nephews, and her dear friend, Gary Matheny.
The family extends their appreciation to the ICU nurses and staff of St. Francis Hospital and to Dr. Murthy and Dr. Desaro for their loving care. Special thanks is extended to the Charleston City Police officer who stayed with Candy and to all of our family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 18th, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor John Jicka officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
