Barry Scott Wallace, 60, of Dunbar was born on April 20, 1963, and entered Heaven on Sunday, January 7, 2024.

He was a 1981 graduate of St. Albans High School, and received his Bachelor's Degree from WV State University.  Barry was employed by LM Communications (Rock 105 and The Mix radio stations) as a Senior Account Representative and Media Consultant.  He was the consummate professional.  He never turned it off, and was always talking to people to gain leads.  Barry never knew a stranger, and once you met, you became his friend.  He previously lived in Ft. Lauderdale and for many years split his time between his homes in Dunbar and Florida.  Florida was his happy place, and he planned on going back in retirement.

Barry is survived by his mother, Dorothy Summerfield and her husband David of Elkview, WV; father, Jim Wallace and his wife Regina of Teays Valley, WV; beloved dog, Buddy; lifelong friend, Andy Luoni (Brian Gravely) of Charleston, WV; and special friend, Darryl Tolson of Dunbar, WV; along with many cousins, relatives, and many, many friends in WV, Florida, and around the globe.  His smiling face and happy personality will forever be missed.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Mike Ramsey officiating

Family will receive visitors two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
