Beatrice "Midge" Knuckles born December 5, 1936 in Spring Hill, passed away shortly after sunset, Saturday, November 14, 2009.

She married Paul "Junior" Knuckles October 6, 1952. She was a beautiful young bride. She worked for Multicap for 30 years. She retired November 3, 2001 after working for 11 years at WVDHHR.

Midge is survived by her children: Larry Knuckles and wife Denise of Charleston, Dale Knuckles and wife Kim of So. Charleston, Lisa Bailey and husband James of So. Charleston; sister, Beulah Kennedy; brothers, Boyd and Berman Hudson; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Junior Knuckles, parents Paul and Martha Hudson; sisters, Bonnie, Barbara, Bernice, Betty & Beverly and brother, Bruce.

Midge loved to have gatherings much too large for her house. She had so many friends and so much family that it always worked. Midge loved to read, laugh and bake. She collected Angels and now is surely one of them. She will be greatly missed.

We would like to thank the Drs and staff at Family Practice and Pulmonary Associates as well as Hospice. A special thanks to the daughters of her heart, Susie, Bonnie and Becky, you are wonderful.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 18, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Fox Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
