Benjamin Pauley's Obituary
The Reverend Benjamin "Benny" Pauley, 88, went home to be with the Lord, March 5, 2016.
He was born the late Londis and Hazel Pauley on January 31, 1928. He was a lifelong resident of South Charleston.
Benny enjoyed a career working for the U.S. Postal Service while also serving as pastor at Mountain Heights Church for 42 years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Thelma Pauley, sons; Glenn Pauley and wife Shelia of South Charleston, Ben Pauley and wife Vicky of Winfield, IL, daughter; Sherry Jewell and husband Bill of Myrtle Beach, SC, brothers; Nyle Pauley, Bert Pauley, and James Pauley, 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m.Monday March 7, 2016 at Keller Funeral Home with Rev. Al Mendez officiating. A burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.
Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday March 6, 2016 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
