Benjamin "Bennie" Wisnewski, 91, of Dunbar, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired machinist for Pressure Products with over 40 years of service. Bennie was a US Army veteran of WW II and was a native of Blue Creek.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Adam A. and Pelagia M. Wisnewski from Brock, Poland and eight brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his loving wife of 34 years, Wilma Marie Wisnewski; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Beth Wisnewski of Greeley, CO; sister-in-law, Marietta Wisnewski of Charleston; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Lloyd Cavey of Baltimore, MD; step-son and wife, Ralph and Linda Lucas of Cross Lanes; brother-in-law and wife, Bob and Penny Pryor of St. Albans; step-daughter-in-law, Janice Lucas of Griffithsville; sisters-in-law, Sue Pryor of Nitro and Patsy Pryor of Rocky Fork; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Bennie was loved and respected by family, friends and all who knew him. He will be sadly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Fairley McCormick officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
