Bernice M. Talbert's Obituary
Bernice M. Talbert, 86, of Charleston, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation for Dunbar.
She was a devoted wife and mother, was a retired banker with One Valley Bank and attended the Northside Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Clifford Ramsey and Thomas O. Talbert, her parents, Joseph and Emma Elswick, son, James Ronald Ramsey, step-mother, Addie Elswick, sisters, Lillian Elswick and Hazel England and by brothers, Ted and Arnold Elswick.
Surviving are her sons, Gary L. Ramsey and his wife, Linda of Elkview and Thomas E. Ramsey and his wife, Deanne of Charleston; sisters, Virginia Clay and Rebecca Paxton of Elkview and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 30, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Jerry Cline and Pastor Terry Hogue officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park.
Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
