Bertha Hudnall Christy's Obituary
Bertha Hudnall Christy, 99, passed away Friday, October 20, 2006, after a lengthy illness.
Bertha loved and cared for many people as owner of Christy's Personal Care Home.
She was preceded in death by her children, Howard Hanson, Jr., Robert Lee Hanson, Greta Jane Ward and her husbands, Howard R. Hanson and John Christy.
Ms. Christy is survived by her sister, Agnes Hudnall of Glasgow; grandchildren, Robin McClanahan, Paul Hanson, Linda Osborne, Brenda Thomas, Butch Dean, Terri Clark, J.D. Neuenschwander, D.J. Neuenschwander all of Charleston, Johnny Hanson, Lane Hanson, Laura Cavender, Eddie Hanson, all of Virginia; 29 great-grandchildren; 24 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Terry Hogue officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, October 23, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
