Betty Jean Little

Betty Jean Little, 86, of South Charleston, WV went home to be with Jesus on July 6, 2026. She passed away at home in the presence of her family.

Betty was born September 11, 1939 in Logan, WV to the late Edgar and Mae Campbell. She attended Logan High School and was a homemaker for most of her life. She attended Apostolic Faith Church of Stollings, WV.

Betty loved people. She never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. She was a jokester and the life of the party everywhere she went. She lived in Logan, WV for most of her life but had lived with her brother and sister-in-law in South Charleston, WV for the last 17 years.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Earl Little; her son, Bruce Campbell; her daughter, Vicki Dengler; her sisters, Janet Williams and Sherry Barnes; along with her grandson, Michael Wayne Milligan.

Betty is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Sonny and Carol Campbell; her brother, Richard Campbell (Pam); her grandchildren, Misty Milligan, Jerry Smith, Marcus Smith, Kandice Stevens, Revicca Meeks; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

The surviving family would like to give a special thank you the Hospice staff especially her nurse, Whitney and the nurse’s aide, Amber who affectionately referred to Betty as Little Bit.

Betty’s celebration of life ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Keller Funeral Home in Dunbar with Pastor Tom Wise from South Charleston Church of God officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Chapmanville, WV.

Family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
