Betty Ann Long, 94, a member of Community Chapel Church in Cross Lanes, went home to be with the Lord on August 7, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John W. Long, Sr.; her parents, Clarence B. Sr. and Mabel B. Cavender; sisters, Hilda Sigmon, Jewell Ware, Jean Cline; brothers, Theodore Cavender, Kenneth Cavender, and Clarence B. Cavender, Jr.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Connie Price (Phil); son, John Long, Jr. (Brenda); and her grandchildren, Justin Price, Stacy Wright, Jennifer Weist (Ron), Angela Cooper (Trey); and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Callie and Emma Price, Mason Wright, Joshua and Abigail Weist, and Will Cooper.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Community Chapel Church, Cross Lanes with Pastor John Gorrell officiating.  Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

Family will welcome friends two hours prior to service at Community Chapel Church, Cross Lanes.
