Obituary

Betty Watts Milam, 80, of South Charleston, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation for Dunbar.

She was a graduate of South Charleston High School and was formerly employed by FMC in South Charleston as well as Haddad's and Kanawha Country Club. She was a member of the South Charleston Christian Church.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Brady W. Milam, parents, Henry Gordon Watts and Audrie Watts Burgy and by her sister, Ada Watts Hooper of Oklahoma.

Surviving are her daughter, Alisa Tyler and her husband, Stephen of South Charleston; sister, Jeanette Bates and her husband Bill of South Charleston; grandson, Spec. Nicholas Cheshire, stationed at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Tx and granddaughter, Ashley Hundley of South Charleston. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, July 28, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Diana Vinscavich officiating. Entombment will follow in the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, July 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation for Dunbar and to the staff of HospiceCare.
