Betty Jean Rardon, 81, of Dunbar, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at the Hubbard Hospice House.
She was a former employee of the Stone & Thomas and O. J. Morrison Dept. Stores and the Kanawha County Board of Education. Mrs. Rardon attended the Dunbar Mountain Mission.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Miner Lee Sr. and Susan Jane Hayzlett; sisters, Mary Atlee Reed, Virginia Swigger; brothers, William and Miner Lee Hayzlett, Jr.; and nephew, Larry Reed.
Surviving are nephews and nieces, Rosetta Buckner, Patricia Meadows, Carol Buckner, Lee Reed, Jane Wymer, Garry Hayzlett, Roger Hayzlett, Marie Ann Carney, Mary Patton, Bonnie Fleck, Donnie McCutcheon, Betty Marion, Ardena Taylor, Ernie McCutcheon, Jeffery Hayzlett, Bill Hayzlett, Susan Pucket, Ben Hayzlett and Paul Hayzlett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. James Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
