Betty Louella Taylor, 82, of South Charleston went to be with the Lord on September, 20, 2024.

She was born on April 4, 1942 to the late William and Augusta Nida.

Betty was an active member and former secretary of the South Charleston Lions Club.  She attended Grace Church of the Nazarene in South Charleston, and was formerly a Walmart Greeter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings; her husband, Ray Taylor; sons, Robert Lee Lacy, David Matthew Taylor, and Rusty Taylor.

Betty is survived by her children, Ben Lacy (Beth) of Sevierville, TN, Steve Lacy (Tammy) of Madison, WV, Tim Taylor (Christy) of Memphis, TN, Paula Mayo of Monroe, GA, and Mike Taylor (Ruth Ann) of Monroe, GA; niece who was like a daughter, Charlotte Hager of Poca, WV; ten grandchildren; along with a multitude of great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with burial to follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans with  Reverend Sam Pierson, Jr. officiating.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
