Beulah M. "Boots" Donahoe, 90, of Charleston, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at Oak Ridge Center.
She was a registered nurse, having graduated from the McMillon Hospital School of Nursing. Beulah worked at McMillon Hospital, Kanawha Valley Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and Charleston General and Charleston Memorial Hospitals. She was also employed as a private duty nurse and taught nursing classes at the Charleston Job Corps Center. Beulah served as a volunteer for the YWCA and HospiceCare.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jack Donahoe, daughter, Jacklyn Donahoe and sisters, Juanita Conley and Loraine Elkins.
Surviving are her son, D. Patrick Donahoe of Charleston; brothers, Leo Boggess and Shelley Dale Boggess, Jr. of Nitro and sister, Helen Painter of Cross Lanes. Also surviving are grandchildren, Laura, Brooke and Amanda Donahoe and Kelsey Wabanimkee and great grandchild, Kane James.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Larry McCallister officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston.
