Beverly Rose Johnson Blaylock, 69, of Nitro went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer.
Beverly was retired from Rubin H. Donnelly Corporation Yellow Pages after 28 years of service. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived her life according to the golden rule. Beverly was a very courageous woman and a friend to all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by parents, Charles D. and Jean Johnson; sister, Sherrie Collins.
Beverly is survived by her son, David Blaylock and wife Polly of Nitro; two grandchildren, Kathryn Michelle Egnor of Nitro, and Gregory Tyler Blaylock of Fort Lewis, Washington; great grandson, Malachi Joseph "Booger Wooger" Legg; brother, Joseph Johnson and companion Nancy Dimmich of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Friends and family may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 28 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 29 at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. A funeral procession of friends and family will leave for cemetery at 10:30 a.m. from Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
