Beverly Ann Munson, 64, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 30, 2019.

She was born on February 24, 1955, in Charleston, to the late Leon "Jack" and Carrie Cottrell.

Beverly went to East Bank High School and graduated in 1973. She went on to earn a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Foreign Language at West Virginia State University. She worked at the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources as a Health and Human resources Specialist in Public Health until she retired in 2010.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother "YaYa". Beverly had a beautiful, selfless, giving spirit and will be missed by everyone who had the privilege to know her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Akers; and her best friend, Anita Arnold.

She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Homer Munson; daughter, Monica Munson of Charleston; grandchildren, Teagan Hamil and Justice Frazier.

According to her wishes there will be no services.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
