Beverly Salisbury, 56, of Clayton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 5, 2024.

Beverly was born on January 1, 1968, in Miami, Florida and spent her late `childhood years in Cross Lanes, WV. She has been a resident of North Carolina for the past 25 years.

She was the daughter of the late John W. Salisbury and Joyce Clark Salisbury.

When able Beverly loved gardening and bird watching. She also loved traveling, meeting new people and exploring other cultures.

Beverly is survived by her spouse, Lee Thompson; brothers, John Salisbury (Christy) of Charleston, WV and Patrick Salisbury (Kathryn) of Wake Forest; sisters, Natasha Armstrong (Kerry) of Parkesburg, WV and Sandy Carey (Justin) of NC; very much loved and special to her heart, were her nieces and nephews, Ali Salisbury, Nick Salisbury, Jewel Medina, Bradlee Armstrong, and Marcus Armstrong.

She was loved by many and affectionately known as "Nana" to family, friends and neighbors.  Daniela and Isabella were especially dear to Beverly.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
