Billy B. Galford's Obituary
Billy B. Galford, 79, of Dunbar, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011.
He was born in Weston, the son of the late Oscar M. and Ruth M. McClain Galford. He was a graduate of Walkersville High School, Walkersville, and attended Marshall College. Mr. Galford proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for WV-American Water Company as an auditor and then later retired from WV Public Service Commission as a rate analyst.
Mr. Galford is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Audra Galford of Oak Hill, Robert and Leona Galford of Hockessin, DE; nephew, Donald and Connie Galford of Windsor, VA; nieces, Donna and Daniel Snyder of Mt. Hope, Debra Shockey of Oak Hill; 5 great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 23, at Post Chapel Cemetery, Crawford.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, August 22, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
