Bobby Damron, 64, of Nitro, WV passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025 after a short illness.

He was born in Charleston, WV to the late Bob and Nancy Damron.

Bobby was a graduate of East Bank High School, and then went on to study at West Virginia Tech.  He was a hard worker, and retired from AEP after 30 plus years of service.  Bobby enjoyed collecting a wide array of firearms then going to local shooting ranges to test out his latest purchases.  He was also a fan of both Collegiate and Professional Football even though he didn't have a favorite team.  Bobby enjoyed going to the gym and staying in shape.

He is survived by his sister, Velda Ellis (Steve); his niece and nephew, Cindy Jordan and Chad Ellis; his aunt, Sue Damron; his cousin, Eddie Damron; along with his great niece and nephew, Emma and Cody Jordan.

The family would like to give a special 'thank you' to Norma Thomas for her unwavering friendship, loving support, and kind help.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Eddie Damron officiating.

Family will welcome visitors two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
