Brenda Lou Bailey, 73, of South Charleston, went to be the Lord on Friday, May 18, 2023.

Brenda was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.  She never met a stranger, and was friends with everyone. She was famous for her peanut butter fudge which was always requested by family and friends who even offered to pay her for it. She was, also, an avid WVU football and basketball fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Sonny" Bailey; son, Carl Lee Bailey; and brother, Dana Davis.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Bailey Garrett (Dallas "Chip"); brother, Gary Davis; sister, Paula Nunn; grandchildren, Larry Means, Joshua Bailey (Aila), and Justin Bailey; great-grandchildren, Landon, Layla, Odessa, and Ozker Dane Bailey.

A funeral service with be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.  Burial will follow in Bailey-Cobb Cemetery.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

A Celebration of Life, with sandwiches and appetizers, will immediately follow the burial at 1301 Moore Ave., Dunbar 25064.
