Obituary

Brenda Robinson Baker took up residence to her new home in Heaven on April 27, 2021.

She was born in Huntington in 1945. Brenda worked for many years as a telecommunications operator at PTL Ministries in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Brenda felt the healing touch of the Lord many times and wrote about her experiences in her book, "Light at the End of the Tunnel". She was also a public speaker whose life inspired many people throughout her lifetime. She will be missed terribly by her friends and family on earth, but we will rejoice that Brenda has a brand new body and is now in the holy presence of Our Father in Heaven.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Creed Robinson; grandson, Jason Ratcliff; and granddaughter, Heaven Gordon.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Jimmy Baker of Charleston; mother, Pauline Robinson of South Charleston; son, Jay Ratcliff (Beth) of South Carolina; daughter, Pauli Gordon of South Carolina; sisters, Pamela Aultz and Carol Barefield (Rob) both of South Charleston; grandchildren, James Chapman, Breanna Gordon and Ashley (Aaron) Babaa; great-grandchildren, Abel Taylor, Lillian, Aris, and Allison Ratcliff.

A memorial service celebrating Brenda's life will be held at a later date in South Carolina.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
