Brenda Lee Baldwin, 67, of Dunbar, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at her home.

She was born February 2, 1949, in Charleston, to the late John and Ola Hively.

She was a homemaker who lived for the Lord. Over the years she was a mother to not only her kids but to a lot of people. She always had a kind word and a prayer to all those in need.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, James Edgar Baldwin; and her sister, Linda Sue Worley Moore.

She is survived by her sons; John T. Baldwin of Spencer, James E. Baldwin and wife, Kathryn, of Dunbar; daughters, Kimberly R. Davis of Cottageville, Charlene Cook and husband, Donald, of Ripley, Brandy Baldwin and boyfriend, Nathan, of Ravenswood; sisters, Ruth M. Trimble of Columbus, OH and Roxie M. Burford of Charleston; brother, Jack Underwood of Charleston; and 10 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Baldwin Cemetery, Sissonville.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
