Brenda Denise Smith

Brenda Denise Smith, born October 15, 1959, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026.

Brenda was born to Charles and Patsy Casto Smith.

Though she faced many challenges throughout her life, Brenda touched the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her gentle spirit, quiet strength, and enduring presence will be remembered by family and friends alike.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Charles Smith, her maternal grandparents, Delbert (Shell) and Darcus Casto; and her paternal grandparents, Eugene and Maxine Smith.

She is survived by her loving mother, Patsy Casto Rodgers; her brothers, John Smith and wife Ylonda; Morgan and Traci Smith; her sister, Karen Skinner and husband Dennis; her nieces, Savannah, Dustie, Kara, McKenna, Kori and Kinley; her nephews, Nick, Larry, and John; as well as her favorite aunts who cared for her as their own, Joyce and David Wickline and Dottie Smith; along with uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss her.

While Brenda’s earthly journey has come to an end, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Brenda’s life and share memories of the love and joy she brought to those around her.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2026 in Moss Chapel Cemetery with visitation from 1:30 p.m until the start of the service.
