Brenda Jenkins, 76, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024, surrounded by love and family.

Born in Huntington, West Virginia, Brenda was known for her warmth, infectious laughter, and an open heart that welcomed everyone she met.

A dedicated hairstylist at Sears for many years, Brenda touched countless lives, transforming not only appearances but also uplifting spirits. Her clients and coworkers adored her talent and cherished the unmistakable sound of her hearty laugh filling the salon. Brenda had a natural gift for bringing people together, and her gatherings were famous for her delicious homemade potato salad—a family recipe that left everyone asking for seconds.

Brenda was a lover of life's simple pleasures. She could often be found in her kitchen, dancing along to her favorite songs with the people she loved most. Her joy and kindness were infectious, spreading happiness and comfort wherever she went. Brenda leaves behind a legacy of beautiful memories and laughter that will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Corbett Jenkins, and her sister, Judy Jenkins.

Brenda is survived by her beloved niece, Tashana Jenkins; her nephew, Brian Jenkins; her great-nephew, Desalle Jenkins; and her lifelong friend, Donna Rose.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at Charleston Area Medical Center for the compassionate care and support they provided to Brenda in her final days. Brenda's light lives on in the lives of those she touched, and her spirit will be remembered always.
