Brenda Sue Ronk, 69, of South Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 7, 2022.

She was born on February 23, 1952 in South Charleston, to the late Thomas and Gladys Metten.

Brenda loved bird watching, planting flowers, listening to Elvis, and watching Charles Stanley. She loved her grandchildren very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel Metten and Thomas Metten; and her sisters, Peggy Miller and Sandra Forzetting.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Donald Ronk; sons, Thomas Ronk of South Charleston and Michael Ronk of Dunbar; grandson, Zachary Ronk of Dunbar; granddaughter, Emily Ronk of Dunbar; step-grandson, Dylan Mason of Dunbar; sisters, Pamela Wade of Dunbar; Cheryl Rambin of Port Allen, LA, and Patricia Byrd of Charleston.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 10, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor David Keeney officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
