Brian "Holmey" Holmes, 53, of Charleston passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

He was born on April 10, 1970 to Darrell "Butch" Holmes and Delores "Dee" Westfall Holmes.

Brian was preceded in death by his dad, Darrell "Butch" Holmes; grandparents, Rancie and Carrie Holmes, and Richard "Ed"and Carrie Westfall; uncles, Aubrey Holmes, Johnny Westfall; and Aunt Edna Westfall Ford.

He had many great friends, many going back all the way back to grade school, including; Mike Neal, Bub Shaffer, Ferrell Patton, David Mitchell, Chris Boggess, Jimmy Evans, Hank Sutherland and Chris Harrison.  Brian never met a stranger, and he could talk the gab with the young and old alike.

Brian is going to be dearly missed by his family and good friends.

He is survived by his son, Ethan Holmes; mother, Delores "Dee" Holmes; step-mother, Nancy Holmes; sister, Natalie Holmes; aunts, Karen Westfall Williams and Debbie Westfall Ford; uncles, Dwight Williams, Fred Ford, Tom Ford; ex-wife, Heather Harrison; and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville with Evangelist John Layne officiating.

Family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the Mausoleum Chapel.
