Bryant "Mike" Chapman, 72, of Dunbar, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

He was born on March 16, 1949 in Charleston to the late Sanford Chapman and Helen Bailey.

Mike graduated from Stonewall High School in 1967. He was the owner of Mike's Auto Service on Roxalana Road in Dunbar for over 30 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Scott of Hurricane.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Michelle Chapman of Cross Lanes; son Bryant 'Mike" Chapman, Jr. (Karma) of Given; sister, Linda Rowe (Robert "Bob") of Oak Island, NC; brother, Robert Bailey (Lois) of Tornado; sister, Brenda Withrow (Jimmy) of Charleston; brother-in-law, Dale Scott of Hurricane; brother; Larry Chapman (Marilyn) of Akron, OH; sisters, Terry Chapman of Akron, OH and Paula Jones of Akron, OH; step-mother, Maxine Chapman of Akron, OH; granddaughters, Emily Bush (Khalil) of St. Albans and Rachel Chapman of Charleston; grandsons, Andrew Guthrie (Hannah) of St. Albans and Adam Guthrie of Cross Lanes; great-granddaughters, Sophia Bush of St. Albans and Delena Guthrie of St. Albans; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A celebration of his life will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 11, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
