A Tribute to a Cherished Life

Bryant Keith Guerrant of Charleston, WV, passed peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at CAMC Hospice Care after a courageous battle with cancer, which he faced with incredible strength and grace.

Born on June 19, 1961, he was the son of the late Robert and Mary Belle Guerrant, Sr.

Bryant graduated from Independence High School in Coal City, WV. He was a Wine Sommelier and Maître d` for The Tarragon Room, Marriott. He also worked for Sam's Uptown Café and The Chop House.

Bryant attended Teays Valley Presbyterian Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Terry L. Guerrant.

Left to cherish Bryant and the love he had for his family are four brothers, Carlson "Slim" Guerrant (Sandy), Robert Guerrant, Jr. (Tracy) of Charleston, WV, Byron T. "his twin" Guerrant (Cesli) of High Point, NC, and Anthony W. Guerrant (Cathy) of Dayton, OH; eight sisters, Maxine Shortridge, Cynthia Guerrant of Baltimore, MD, Linda Guerrant of  Dunbar, WV, Paula Sims of St. Albans, WV, Barbara Bryant (Herman) of Beckley, WV, Mary Guerrant of Winchester, VA, Diane Smith of Virginia Beach, VA, and Jennifer Guerrant of Beckley, WV; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and close friends.

Bryant, we find comfort in remembering your kindness, compassion, laughter, unwavering strength, and strong spirit that enriched our lives and bought love to everyone who had the privilege of knowing you. Rest in Peace Our Brother, we love you and we truly know you're now okay.

Bryant donated his body to West Virginia University Human Gift Registry in the hope that the research will help cure cancer.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
