Carl "Core" Edward Wiley, 65, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

He was born on June 25, 1958 in Charleston, to the late Kenneth and Ersula Wiley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Gwen Wiley and Brenda Wiley; and his brothers, Jimmy Wiley and George "Man" Sanders.

Core is survived by his brother, Robert Sanders and fiancee Tonya Adkins of St. Albans; sisters, Sissy Wiley of Charleston, Rowena Porter and husband James of Orlando, FL, and Roberta Sanders of Charleston; her sister-n-law, Dorletta Harrison; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
