Carl Henson Gilbert's Obituary
Carl Henson Gilbert, 87, of Red House, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010, at Putnam Health Care.
He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a former school bus driver in Richmond County, NC.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Bell Gilbert; sister, Erma Lawrence of Kentucky; step-children, Jessie Cheeks and her husband, Bronson of Griffithsville, Sandra Dingman of Washington, Franklin Sexton of Red House and Alva Sexton of Rockingham, NC. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 30, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Leonard May officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
