Carl "Pug" Johnson, 82, of Dunbar, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007, at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington.
He was a US Navy veteran of WW II and the Korean Conflict and was a retired production supervisor with Union Carbide. Mr. Johnson was a member of First Church United Methodist, the Masonic Lodge, Beni Kedem Temple and Scottish Rite.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Ann Johnson and by his son, Mike Johnson and parents, Mumpford and Katherine Johnson.
Surviving are his son, Sam Johnson and his wife, Susan of Dunbar, grandchildren, Chad Johnson and his wife, Renee of Kenna, Jeff Johnson and his wife, Melissa of Ormond Beach, Fla. and Jennifer Phalen and her husband, Cayce of Nitro and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 30, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Okey B. Harless, Jr. officiating. Burial will Masonic rites and Military rites conducted by American Legion Post 61, Clendenin, will be at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
